It is most particularly at the Fifth TRUMPET, the First Woe, at the opening of the bottomless pit (Re.9:1-2, 12), that Satan knows he has but a short time, Revelation 12:12.

Revelation 12:13 through Revelation 12:17 (below) gives an overview of the persecution of the saints of the most High (Dan.12:12, Re.8:3-4) who will stand against the beasts of Revelation chapter 13 during the last 3-1/2 years/1260 days prior to the sounding of the Seventh, and final, TRUMPET, 1 Thess.4:16-17.

The 144,000 (the remnant of Israel - Re.14:1-7, Zeph.3:13), have a place prepared for them by God to protect them for a time, and times and half a time (3-1/2 years - Re.12:14) during the war with the remnant (the rest) of the seed of the woman, Revelation 12:17.
